Tyler Furlong

Tyler joined Wakefield Lawyers in September 2025 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Science with a major in criminology, with plans to commence a Bachelor of Laws in mid to late 2026. She completed her VCE studies locally in 2024.

At Wakefield Lawyers, Tyler assists the family law team and works from the Warragul office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Within the family law team, her role involves managing enquiries and triaging matters to the appropriate solicitors, coordinating appointments, communicating between clients and legal practitioners, preparing and amending documents and ensuring the smooth organisation of day-to-day operations. With a strong interest in Family Law and Youth Justice, she supports clients as they navigate key family law processes, including child support, divorce, parenting arrangements, property settlement and spousal maintenance.

Outside of work, she leads a very active lifestyle and trains in jujitsu in Drouin several times a week. She also enjoys Pilates and has a background in dance. Living with her family on acreage in Ellinbank, she spends much of her downtime outdoors—walking the property, riding horses and looking after the family’s German Shepherds, Czar, James Bond and Lucky.
