Melissa Knowles began her legal career at just 16, working in firms across the Latrobe Valley. After gaining valuable experience in other industries for 15 years, she returned to the legal sector in 2021, drawn back by her passion for the field. Since then, she has become a key member of our conveyancing team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

As a conveyancer, Melissa assists clients with the sale, purchase, and transfer of property, ensuring the process is as smooth and stress-free as possible. She has particular expertise in handling farming property transactions, including complex stamp duty matters, and is well-versed in navigating the intricacies involved in these high-value and often multi-generational property transfers.

Many of her clients—both local and from further afield—return time and again, trusting the consistently high level of service she delivers.

To stay current with industry developments and legislative changes, Melissa attends monthly conveyancing meetings, where she focuses on process improvements and regulatory updates. Based in our Warragul office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, she is also available via phone or email on Wednesdays and Fridays, ensuring clients receive timely support with their property matters.

Beyond her professional work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, whether fishing, gardening, or playing golf. A dedicated athlete, she has been competing in sports since the age of seven and remains active in her free time.
